Networking Representative

3. External Relations

Represent the team globally by pitching ideas, building connections, and showcasing innovation at industry events and fairs.

Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Scout conferences, fairs etc. and coordinate delegations to represent RoboTUM.

  • Organize events for existing partners.

  • Act as the ambassador for RoboTUM at major industry events, fairs, and in the tech startup scene.

  • Pitch RoboTUM to potential partners and stakeholders to expand its reach and influence.

  • General Responsibilities:  Attend weekly/bi-weekly departmental & organizational RoboTUM meetings, as well as occasional spontaneous meetings as needed. Answer emails and messages within 24 hours (be comfortable using Slack). Adhere to RoboTUM policies and be willing to help when the team needs you

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills in both German and English.

  • Experience in stakeholder management or similar roles.

  • Basic understanding of engineering or technology concepts to bridge communication with technical teams.

  • High level of organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.


Ideal Qualifications

  • Experience in pitching ideas or presenting at events.

  • Background in STEM fields or technical studies.

  • Strong leadership & communication skills.

  • Familiarity with the robotics or tech startup ecosystem.


Estimated Time Commitment:

  • Equivalent to a 5 ECTS course.
