Responsibilities & Tasks
Read and analyze recent robotics research papers.
Present technical content in an accessible and engaging way.
Write short articles, blog posts, or LinkedIn updates on robotics and AI advancements.
Explain technical concepts for a general audience while maintaining scientific accuracy.
Develop content for a "New in Robotics" page featuring recent breakthroughs.
Track the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in robotics.
Provide insights on how emerging trends impact the robotics community.
Work with the design and social media teams to create visually engaging research posts.
General Responsibilities: Attend weekly/bi-weekly departmental & organizational RoboTUM meetings, as well as occasional spontaneous meetings as needed. Answer emails and messages within 24 hours (be comfortable using Slack). Adhere to RoboTUM policies and be willing to help when the team needs you

Minimum Qualifications
Strong background in scientific writing and research (engineering, robotics, AI, or related fields).
Ability to analyze and summarize complex research papers effectively.
Interest in robotics, AI, and emerging technologies.
Clear and engaging writing style, making technical concepts accessible.
Ideal Qualifications
MSc or PhD
Experience in academic research, literature reviews, or science communication.
Familiarity with robotics conferences (ICRA, IROS, NeurIPS) and journals.
Knowledge of AI, machine learning, or hardware advancements.
Ability to create visual summaries (charts, infographics, or videos) is a plus.
Estimated Time Commitment
3-5 hours per week, depending on the depth of research and writing.
