Responsibilities & Tasks

As a Content Creator for RoboTUM, you will play a key role in shaping the public image of our student robotics initiative. Your tasks will include:


1. Social Media Management

• Plan, schedule, and post engaging content on platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn.

• Monitor trends and optimize content to increase follower engagement.

• Respond to comments and direct messages to foster a strong online community.


2. Copywriting

• Write compelling captions, blog posts, and promotional materials for events like RoboMeetup and RoboRumble.

• Develop a consistent tone of voice that reflects RoboTUM’s innovative spirit.


3. Graphic Design

• Design eye-catching graphics, posters, and banners using tools like Canva or Adobe Illustrator.

• Maintain brand consistency across all visual materials.


4. Video Content Creation

• Shoot and edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, event recaps, and promotional campaigns.

• Ensure high-quality visuals and sound for all video content.


5. Event Promotion

• Collaborate with the team to promote RoboTUM’s events and initiatives.

• Create marketing materials to boost attendance and engagement.


6. Analytics and Optimization

• Track social media metrics and analyze the performance of posts.

• Use insights to refine and improve content strategies.


Minimum Qualifications

• Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging content for social media.

• Basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva or Figma.

• Familiarity with Instagram, LinkedIn, and social media trends.

• Basic video editing skills using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or iMovie.

• Good organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.


Ideal Qualifications

• Experience managing social media accounts or running campaigns.

• Familiarity with analytics tools like Instagram Insights or Google Analytics.

• Knowledge of branding and visual design principles.

• Creative mindset with a passion for robotics and technology.


Estimated Time Commitment

• 6-8 hours per week, with flexibility to adjust during event-heavy periods.
