Responsibilities & Tasks
• Manage External Relations (ER) for Germany’s largest robotics initiative, RoboTUM
• Establish and maintain relationships with key industry players like NVIDIA, Siemens, Ansys, and more
• Act as the ambassador for RoboTUM at major industry events, fairs, and in the tech startup scene
• Pitch RoboTUM to potential partners and stakeholders to expand its reach and influence
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to understand their needs and secure resources from industry partners
• Evaluate and prioritize requests from industry collaborators, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
• Assist in growing RoboTUM’s presence by building and fostering strategic partnerships
• Develop soft skills by working at the intersection of management and technology
• Represent RoboTUM to advance its mission of innovation in robotics and grow its reputation in academia and industry
Minimum Qualifications
• Strong communication skills in both German and English
• Experience in stakeholder management or similar roles
• Basic understanding of engineering or technology concepts to bridge communication with technical teams
• High level of organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
Ideal Qualifications
• Background in STEM fields or technical studies
• Experience in pitching ideas or presenting at events
• Familiarity with the robotics or tech startup ecosystem

• Number and quality of industry partnerships formed

Average Weekly Time Commitment
• 20 hours per week, with flexibility for event schedules
